We'll have a cool weekend with some breezy winds. Temperatures will gradually warm through next week to near average values as high pressure shifts to our east allowing for southerly winds. The next chance of rain is Thursday as another cold front should move through. Tropical Storm Julia has developed just north of Colombia. It should strengthen into a hurricane but it will move into Central America and pose no threat to the US.

The more snow that falls at your location after the sun sets on Friday will equate to more accumulation with less melt occurring. The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing of the Alfred P. Perpetrated by two anti- government extremists, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols , the bombing happened at a.
Within 90 minutes of the explosion, McVeigh was stopped by Oklahoma Highway Patrolman Charlie Hanger for driving without a license plate and arrested for illegal weapons possession. Michael and Lori Fortier were later identified as accomplices. McVeigh, a veteran of the Gulf War and a sympathizer with the U.
Nichols had assisted with the bomb's preparation. Motivated by his dislike for the U. When the FBI raided McVeigh's home, it found a telephone number that led them to a farm where McVeigh had purchased supplies for the bombing.
